ALERT: Fake phone warnings about S/W licenses expiring
Hackers are using automated phone messages warning computer users that their “software licenses” or “Microsoft licenses” are going to expire and that your computers are in danger. Don’t believe these messages! They’re trying to get you to talk with someone offering to “fix the problem”.
In reality their just trying to trick you into letting them have access your your computer to exploit it or bury malware in it or even buy BOGUS software license renewal you don’t really need.
Don’t fall for this trick! If it does raise a concern for you, call your local PC company or us and get a straight answer on your concern.
Never trust someone that calls you out of the blue or sends you an email from an address you don’t recognize who is offering to fix something for you.
